Ever since I swapped out a hard drive on my macbook the "Back Up" application opens at start up. There's this annoying umbrella bouncing in my dock and then there's a menu on the desktop showing "backup in process" .

It looks like it's related to the defunct Mobile Me.

What do I do to get rid of it?

Thanks.

Wow, that's ancient. Did you check the login items in the Users & Groups preferences?

Yep. Went into Accounts and it's not even in the list of applications and none of those are checked.

It's just weird (and so annoying) that it opens now since I put in a new HD.
