Upgrade to Mavericks and now I´ve got 2 iWorks, one iWork's 09 in a folder and another iWork's 11 in the applications. How do I uninstall the 09 version (using AppCleaner) without deleting common files, if there are any ?

Just drag the apps to the trash, that's all.

Note that the new versions are missing some functionality over the older ones, so test them thoroughly before deleting the old ones.

It will take a while until the new versions are up to par, functionally, with the old ones.

What SH said.
If you're a regular user of iWorks, I'd hold on the the '09 version for now, and test-drive the new one for awhile and see if they do what you want.

OK; thanks I´ll regard the advice and keep both, despite not being a regular user. So later on , just dragging the apps to AppCleaner won´t delete any common files ?

Because it does nothing in this case that simply dragging the apps to the trash won't accomplish, and chances are that it will delete the iWork preferences as well, which appear to be shared among the different versions.

It won't harm, but it's simply unnecessary.
