I already ordered my book but would like a "digital copy". I was wondering if iPhoto could export your book into a pdf or webpage etc?

Yes it can export to PDF, just like every other app in Mac OS X.
Just make your book, then go to Print and choose Save as PDF in the output options.

Yes, the PDF export looks like the way iPhoto actually uploads your book for printing anyway. It comes out exactly like the final product and is a great way to review the final product. My book I made has 50 pages and 100 pictures and the final PDF came out at over 40MB so the quality is pretty high as far as PDF's go.

Yeah that's what I figured, so for any book I'm attempting to create I've been .pdf'ing it first before sending it. Why? I've noticed that sometimes the .pdf file DOES NOT look like the preview. This is mostly when you use non-4:3 images for creating the book, when multiple images are on the same page. Kinda screws things up.

BTW, iBook is SOOOOOO unstable. And you can't manually save but you can force a save by exiting the program. I've taken to doing that periodically, because a few it's quit in the middle of an edit, losing my last 15 minutes of work.
