One of my Photoshop teachers once showed us a way to blend the edges of an image so that the image could more easily be used as a pattern for example as the background of a web page. For the life of me I can't remember how to do it, but it worked pretty good.

Well, you can always use -filter/other/offset- and then paint out the seams with the clone tool. In the offseet box just enter values about half of your image size ( you can basically enter anything...the point is to get your seams to show, so you can paint/clone them away ).

no no what he showed us was some filter that would automatically blend the edges, and it worked really good, you couldn't tell even on some more photographic images. No seems at all.

Eh...nothing more comes to my mind. Generally images won`t blend well...obviously, unless you make it tileable either by painting out seams or adjusting the lumin channel in LAB mode.

Sounds interesting though...please post if you find what you`re looking for elsewhere. Always fun to learn
