At the school in which I work, I was going to use Macs and iPhoto to organize all my yearbook's digital photos. The school seems to have "misplaced" my Macs (grumble, grumble), and have given me Win2K computers as a temporary replacement until they can reorder my eMacs.

What's the most iPhoto-like software out there? I haven't found anything very useful that I can get for cheap/free. I've tried ePhoto, and it is far too slow for using in class.

Any suggestions for software? Anything will be greatly appreciated.

Hah, like iPhoto isn't?

Anyways, I'm not *too* sure, but iirc, XP has a built in photo browser, 2K might have it as well. is html outside of your sphere of abilities? Photoshop or Elements has a contact sheet ability that might fulfill your needs.

Odd as it may seem, iPhoto has never gone wrong for me. It's the easy to organize abilities that I want out of it, not the image-editing capabilities (or lack thereof).

The contact sheets are fine for viewing, but I need to organize the files for my students, and the albums have been flawless in the past.

I can't seem to find a windows application that does the same kind of thing.
