Yeah, I am going to take computer graphics training at Noble Desktop, and was wondcering if there was anything anyone could tell me about them, (positive and negative input are both welcome)? Or perhaps, someone would like to recommend a good place for Adobe and Quark classes in NY. Thanks.

I never went to any graphics classes myself but I heard that Apple Store is offering some graphics seminar with Adobe sometime every months. Maybe you can check www.apple.com/retailstores for a schedule or something.

if you can learn in a classroom environment i would try one of the ad schools. i believe the school of visual arts teaches some.

personally i found all the computer classes i took in art / design school to be a waste of time and money. for me it was best to challenge myself to do a project and just work my way through it. i would suggest trying the same before forking out the cash.

buy a couple guides and just make yourself sit down and feel your way through it. that's how i learned quark, illustrator, photoshop, freehand, etc.

truth be told the apps aren't that difficult. you just need some trial and error with the problem solving.

best o' luck.
