Using ATM Deluxe 4.6.1 and Mac OS X v.10.2
The current version of Adobe Type ManagerŪ Deluxe for the Macintosh (version 4.6), Adobe's font management application, is not compatible with Mac OS X, in either native or Classic mode. The supported Macintosh operating systems for ATM Deluxe 4.6 are Mac OS 8.1 through 9.0.4. (Though ATM Deluxe is not officially supported under Mac OS 9.1 or 9.2, initial testing has uncovered no known problems.) As an alternative for users of Mac OS X, Adobe is recommending that customers evaluate DiamondSoft Font Reserve and Extensis Suitcase products. Adobe has no plans at present to create a version of ATM Deluxe that runs on Mac OS X.

and since every adobe application EXCEPT streamline is mentioned here I doubt it.

Streamline is a very important app. Either they'll make one, or they're saving it for illustrator 11, for a reason for people upgrade. I think they're running out of ideas cough(flaretool)cough.

Yeah, I have a strong feeling that they will put it in Illustrator 11 or 12.

I need that app badly. There are one alternative to it on OS X but it suck badly.

alot like magic, it converts a bitmap image (tiff, gif, jpeg, etc) to a vector. (scalable illustrator gooeyness)

its quite powerful in the right hands, but hard to figure out all the settings and such to get optimal results.

Yet another voice in the wilderness, here. It's been four years, though. My hopes ae dimming. Fortunately, it works in CLassic, though it could stand some refinement.

About the only viable workaround right now is to export paths from Photoshop, which is fraught with difficulty, and is a poor substitute at best.

I doubt if Streamline will ever make it to OS X. Corel's Trace 10 does work under MacOS X and that is what I use in place of Streamline.

I feel that it works as well as Streamline did. Mind you that Adobe's Streamline has not been updated since.... System 7.x or so.

Check out the program Silhouette for OS X. It's a stand alone application and they've also created plug-ins for Illustrator 8, 9 and 10. I haven't tried it myself but have heard from others that it's worth the $300.00(!!!).

I use Flash 6's tracing tools. Far better than Streamline...though a little more expensive of course...
