I made a logo for my company in CMYK. The logo only has two colors though, so I'd like to pick a pantone color so i can save bundles on printing. The colors are black and red. So obviously the red is in question. Are there any programs or anything that can help me here? Anything hidden in any adobe apps perhaps?

go to WINDOW > SWATCH LIBARY > Panton Solid Coated (Uncoated) and then pick the right color for you logo
good luck
and also you can get the panton swatch book for around 100 dollar or so (maybe more expensive)

Strongly recommend you borrow a Pantone process color imaging guide - relying on your monitor to set the colors for a logo can be have a quite a disappointing outcome in the end.

If you don't want to buy one, go to the printhouse and borrow it from them for a sec...

DO NOT pick a color based on what your screen displays. Get the Pantone chip books.

I normally sample the colour in photoshop, go to the colour picker and click the 'custom' button. Photoshop will show you the nearest PMS.
