I made and ordered a 10 page book (baby pics) last week. Got the book yesterday. All the pictures seem to have a grayish-pink tint. they look a lot different then they do on screen (crt) or camera lcd (canon powershot g1). is there a way to set something so this is countered? I'd like to order more books.

thanks

If you have Photoshop Elements you'd be able to embed your monitor's ColorSync profile in the photo. I'd imagine that the Kodak system (or Apple) can use that profile to do color matching. I ordered prints that came out exactly as they appeared on my monitor.

However, because of the book processing, you may have to compensate on your end by adding a light green tint (to compensate for the pink hue) and brightening the image to compensate for the grayness.

Does iphoto pay attention to the Colorsync profile of the photos?

Actually…
There is something much easier than PhotoShop and runs right from within iPhoto, its called PixelNhance from www.CaffeineSoft.com
It's a free download with cool features
They have instructions on how to install it.
