I recently bought an iMac and I cannot seem to get the Canon S820 printer to print my photos where they belong! Either the picture is on one side or the other and most of the time partially cut off. I bought the 4.72"x 8.5" Photo Paper Pro. The paper is perforated at 4"x6", so of course the photo goes beyond the perforations. I cannot continue to experiment(too expensive). I called Canon for help, their comment was to download their imagebrowser software, which I did, that didn't help,so I am using iPhoto again(which I prefer). If there is someone who can tell me what settings I need to correct this problem on iPhoto, I would be very gratefull! I am spending far to much time and money on this problem. Thanks!!!

Check out this article about GIMP PRINT over on mac os X hints:

I know you shouldn't have to do this crap to get your mac to print properly but give it a try and see if it helps. The faq mentioned on there should help you through installing it on your system.

I miss being able to force my Epson 750 to use the maximum space available. I am going to give this a try to see if it brings it back.
Nothing to see, move along.
