I work for a company that has a couple of offline interactive thingies looming, basically we have a choice, we're happy enough building stand alone apps in Flash, but if we need to create another solution we're not rigged up.
We're pondering whether to go CD-rom creation or DVD - we would prefer DVD, but wondering on startup cost (Eg. semi-prof dvd burner, software, etc) or getting into director (we have no license) which i've tried a few years ago but hated for autorun cd's.
if anybody has an idea of cost or links about where to go to do some research I would be most grateful
