I have 3 questions.

1. How do I make my printer print out the entire page layout instead of the dotted border that sits inside documents? When I try to print out an 11x17 sized paper i only get a chunk of the layout to print.

2. For the adobe illustrator users that also own 1ghz tibooks, do any of you notice subtle squeak noises when the program loads up pages with a lot of graphics? for example having a page completely saturated with color causes my powerbook to squeak when i move around the document, especially when i zoom in and out.

3. this question isnt about illustrator but rather acrobat. example: ive been having to convert all my illustrator images into pdf files because of my problem as listed in question #1. when i attempt to print out a converted 8.5x14 document, instead of filling out the entire page like its supposed to it scales down the image. i really dont understand this one as i have not made any single print setting modifications.

i have an epson 1280 printer by the way. i appreciate any help

#3 In your print dialog box, there should be a pulldown with Acrobat when you are printing from within Acrobat. Uncheck the setting for 'shrink to fit'

#1 do you mean print full bleed all the way to the edge of the paper? This is a printer feature, most (all?) desktop inkjets don't provide this functionality, ship it out somewhere to be printed if you want this. (and you still won't be able to put text within about .3 - .5 of an inch of the edge as it might get trimmed. Remember to pull out your bleed beyond the edge too. to get as close as you can to the edge, mmuck about in your page setup dialog box to see if there are any options like "print to maximum size" or something. It'd help if you could tell us what model printer you are using.
