Hello everybody.
As some of you may know I'm a graphic designer on my BA. My subject is 3d illustration. The pusrpose is to create a number of illustrations to be displayed on a book.

The plot
A man gets hit by a car. What I do is I describe the remaining 1 minute of his life. What is he thinking the last few seconds of his life. Is he satisfied by his life? Because the human mind on traumatic situations like that plays all sort of tricks he doesn't control all his memories or everything he sees. And that's why the images will be surrealistic and quite crowded. (This you will see on the other images. These images are quite straightforward.

Anyway here are the images.

This image is when the hero gets hit by a car. In this image you can't see him cause he's lying on the road. Everything you see is from the heros
eyes. Because he gradually looses his senses he can't hear well (the blurry text). The texts gets unreadable cause when it's completely unreadable he has completeley lost his senses. And that's when the journey to the unconcious begins.

The next image is near the end where he dies. His mind is totally f@cked up and he is visualising all sorts of crazy images. He is on an elevator and he gradually goes down to another place called hell....

This image needs some typography that will be added later

The 3d aspect of the pictures is not very obvious but everything is built on a 3d package and composited on Photoshop. I have very few time in fact only 4 weeks to complete 20 images so the images you see will not chanmge so much. I have 18 more to do!!!

Hope you like them. All comments good and especially bad are welcomed.
Cheers!!

Another image. It's a bar scene. Everybody looks like ghost because the character sees them as faceless feauturless people with no meaning for him

Good stuff, I like the concept. I'm guessing your aim here is/should be to tell the story through your illustrations. This sort of brings to mind the medium of "comic books" to me for some reason (which I do regard highly as art).

As a suggestion, you may choose to take some inspiration from comic books for example (I.E. being able to tell the story through images). Although comics are generally 2-D images, your 3-D illustration could be applied in a similar fashion.

Hello mike. Glad you like my pictures. I know that if you see those pictures without any explanation or if you don't have the whole thing in your mind than you will find it lacking. It's going to have typography that will tell the whole story and explain everything. At least I hope it will do in the end....

Here is another picture

His girlfriend has left him. So he is trying mentally to remember her by looking at her picture. The letters on the right are temporary. I'm not quite satisfied with the way they blend with the image and also don't have the correct text. Anyway,.....

Here is the image
