Is it possible to change/add the keyboard shortcuts in Photoshop?

I'd like to add a keyboard shortcut for Brightness/Contrast. It's PITA opening the menubar again and again if I need to do some brightening, contrasting, etc.
Is it possible?

can't you make an action for opening the dialog, and assign it a key? I didn't try it, but maybe you could even make an action for a brightness contrast adjustment layer, it might not save you time, though, cause then you would have to double click it still.
I like to use adjustment layers whenever possible, they can make things harder, but sometimes its nice to be able to take it off, or jus reduce the opacity a little.

Hmm.. never thought of that. I could live with that for now.
I really wish Adobe would make Brightness/Contrast, etc in a palette window. It'd make everything so easier.

Not really. I, for instance, never use Brightness/Contrast. It kills your image. If you want to adjust an image, use Levels and Curves. The resluts are gonna be MUCH better. I learned to do it from some Scott Kelby's tutorials. Highly recommend.

Shouldn't you be using an adjustment layer anyway, so you can work with the histogram to get the different levels balanced?
I think it's much easier and more exacting because you can see what's wrong immediately.

For the icons job I'm doing, Brightness/Contrast is preferred. I do use Curves for photos, etc though.

I agree but I do not need an adjustment layer for a layer that contain a very few pixels. Then again, it's an icons job so it may be different from the way you work.
