I have a few pictures on which I have to replace the text with another one.

Example:

What's the best method for replacing the text on the truck with another, without letting it look "fake" ?

thanks

Your example image didn't load-up. My first choice would be to use photoshop. You could clone/stamp tool the surrounding areas of the text over the text itself to achieve this effect. Or you could smudge the surrounding areas over the text to smudge it out. Best bet is probably the stamp tool though. Again, hard to say for sure without seeing the example you're talking about.

Oh that one is easy, stamp tool it out and slap the text down with a perspective tool. Note the vanishing points for the real text and make sure the new text follows the same.
