There are a lot of obvious and not so obvious corrections that I
already know about. I'm mostly interested in the navigation, "ease-of-use"
and overall feel, But all comments are
appreciated.

Okay, excuse the critique, but is that not what you wanted?

1) Too many images for front page - especially on black background. Looks like it's a pron site being loaded.

2) Web address a bit fishy. i thought you were at it when I saw it - "gamblersworld.com" - no.

3) Other than that, quite nice. I would recommend to choose one size of thumbnail and go with it, as you are offering a blown up full JPEG, the thumbnail should simply whet the appetite.

I like, it's nice and clean. But the Pron site lookalike and gamblers web address are not good.

Would you care to reciprocate, I'm just redoing mine, basic systems up, but no content. Just go to http://www.theheadfactory.com
Hark, I hear a robin sig'ing in the trees!

The web addy will change ( hopefully soon) One of the companies i work for was nice enough to provide a little space
for me, but i wont go fully public till the hosting changes.

As for "looking like a porn site" i dont fully understand and i hope you'll elaborate a little more. I figured a graphics site should be a little heavy up front, (especially since i suck at flash-work, and wanted something a little bold up front)

I do appreciate you critique, if it sucked, i wanted to know!
I'll get back to you on yours after work-
thanks

I think it's the border more than anything else that gives it that porn feel. Black background, lots of images loading in a large square box, with a black border, looks like the traditional web pron.

If you lost the border, or created a little "hello" page I reckon you would get round that.

I think it's also that left justification for a site designed with small screens looks like there's alot of space left over. makes it look kinda unfinished. Normally I would make the page dynamically resizable, with fixed positions for various items, to give the user control over the size of the page. This way, it should look good no matter what screen size your using. Keep in mind that not very many people use 640x480 anymore, 800x600 is on its way out, and 1024x768 is looking like the minimum standard these days.

I dont know if looking like a porn site bothers me, lord know those f**kers make a ton o' cash!
but seriously-
the home page itself is one complete image I made in fireworks,
so I dont know if I can kill the border that easy, unless I make it flush to the up-left corner or make the total image smaller and center it. (I'll play with it later, see how it looks).
A little food for thought- (and I learned this working for website,) seeing the stats of visitors to our sites - 65-70% of todays users still use 8x6 res.--
why? - cause the monitors are shipped that way by default
and most people aren't even savy enough to fix it.

I did get to see what you had goin--very kewl!
I love the detail of the rust running from the buttons!
I'd like to see it when it's completed.
