Can anyone identify the font in the attached image? It's not Optima but has similaryly flared strokes.

Lithos is about as close as I can come here. (it has more of an "old Greek" style to it)

All of my flared-serif fonts are fancier than that one. It's nice-- post the results her if you ever find it.

Thank you very much for the link! I very much like their approach, but many of the matches aren't terribly close to the sample.

Shoot, I almost had it, looks a lot like Optima (and Lithos too), but the horizontals (especially on the "R") are a bit too thin. I"ll keep lookin'... gotta have something to do at work

Thanks! I know, but the differences between my sample and Optima are there, they're just subtle.

yeah, the top of the "t" and all that, close, but no cigar... it'll turn up somehow though, I'm sure.

Oh god, now I am obsessed!
It looks similar to Myriad MM and Shannon, but not quite. That T and S and the R are tricky.
Are you sure it's font and not a custom job?

I'm off to go look for it. Now I have to find it.

P.S. I'm from Germantown, I work in Gaithersburg!

Although I don't have an example handy, I recall that "Christiana" had that quasi serif shape to it, like "Optima."
