I hope this isn't the wrong forum for this.

I want an avatar like the blue, translucent Apple logo in the OS X Finder bar (background and all), but with the Starfleet symbol from Star Trek instead of the apple. I'd like it to be 78x78 pixels in size. Since I'm no artist and have no idea how to do this stuff on a computer, I am willing to pay a small fee (dependent on the amount of work involved), but I want it to be top-notch.

Am I making sense? LOL

I'm a geek, indeed.

Well thanks for finding it, then. Yeah, I'd like to get the entire thing blue, like the apple in the Finder bar.

I do realize you wanted the whole thing blue, but I'd like to suggest this one because I think the contrast looks better.

My experience in these forums is that people come in asking for logos, brochures, album covers, whatever and everyone is quick to offer their expertise for free, even when money's involved. This is just another one of those instances. It's sad, but true.

Sad? Seriously? I didn't detect sarcasm in your previous posts...

Yeah, I'm just as guilty as everyone. There's just something about throwin' stuff up while the subject is hot and seeing what everyone comes up with. That's why this biz is so fun!
Graphic Design is like prostitution.
First you do it for love,
and then for a few close friends,
and then for money.
