I know that .TTF work just with the one font.

But if you have a postscript font, you have to have the postscript font, AND the suitcase? Can you get away with just one or the other?

The reason I ask is because my Futura Bold disappeard from my Photoshop font menu, so I switched it to Century Gothic temporarily until I could figure out how to get Futura Bold back.

Well, Century Gothic is greyed out too, and I'm thinking at this rate, all my favorite fonts will be gone in the next month or so.

Does anyone know whats going on here? Is there a legit workaround to buying adobe's fonts at full price? I notice they're like 5 seat licesnses, and I only need once seat. Shouldn't that lower the price or something? Geez.

I'm a font-o-phile, but I can't get all the ones I want, cause I'm trying to stay legit in everything (music, software, fonts, etc.) I need to find a deal on fonts, so I don't have to worry about this situation where I guess I only pirated half the postscript font from my dad, or whatever.

Thanks for any solutions, insights and/or suggestions.

InDesign has just started to complain to me about missing fonts (that I've been using forever). What's up? Definitely sounds like a bug.
