Finally got the G4. Yayyyy!
Wow, there are lot of color profiles in the menu?
For a CRT which one should I be using?
They vary quite a bit.

Also, for monitor settings, which one should I be using?
I notice the Viewsonic Monitor I use has its own profile, but the colors seem muted and dull. Can anone elaborate on why that is?

Just leave all that stuff alone for now. Default setting will be fine.

It's because generic profiles for displays are absolutely useless. There are too many variables and CRT displays do not maintain a static color calibration- they need to be recalibrated regularly. It's not worth even trying to use the profile.

yeah just calibrate it yourself.
