I want to setup a home security system in my house using some wireless cameras, so I will need some RCA Video inputs for my Mac, can anyone recommend a good card to use for this that is compatible with MAC OS X and a G4, thanks!
To my knowledge there isn't really a card for this. You could probably rig something up with a DV bridge like the one formac sells. Most of the cards that allow video in from analog sources are made specifically for use with video editing apps.
I would avoid the Dazzle. i had bad luck with it. It didn't come with a part it was supposed to and did not work. Try the Sony, Canopus or Formac. Search this forum for DV bridge.
