i have indesign on my 800mhz imac and it works alright. It is slow when you have a lot of things going in your pages. I hope they fix that in version 3. the thing i love about indesign is the features and compatibility compare to quark.

Don't worry. It will work like a charm. If you exclude the bigger cache my machine (a 667 DVI powerbook) is slower on every aspect than yours. And on my machine it works ok. And I'm talking about some heavy use here. Scrolling hundreds of pages with LOTS of pictures is ok. It could be faster but it's not dead slow. So go install your copy! Enjoy a wonderful program!

I use a G4/450 Sawtooth at work and use InDesign daily. It can definitely chug on some files, but it works. At home I have a G4/1.2GHz and it flies.
