First off, how do you guys feel about Lightwave, it is a good program for 3d animation? And what laptop would be the best to have. I really would like the portablity of a 12 inch powerbook but i assume that i wont be able to run many developer and heavy video programs such as Final Cut pro, and others.
-Is lightwave worth $395(education discount)
-Is there other programs i should look at?
-best system?
