I've been assigned the responsibility of documenting one of our applications for administrators who will soon be using our tool. I want to make the documentation very professional, yet eye-pleasing. There will be lots of text and many snap shops.

Could someone provide examples or layout ideas that they've seen/used?
Just my $.02 :-)

I'm not sure why you're mad. He did nothing wrong.

Thank you very much. My point exactly. It was just a simple question, right?

your too fookin' vague to get useful feedback / ideas:

1. who's your target?
2. what's your app / what's the category?
3. what do you want them to feel / believe / get from the documentation?
4. do you have a budget for art / photography?
5. do you have control over the snaps / screengrabs?

it's foolish to think that any old examples people would share with you are going to do the trick. in fact, it's insulting. we're talking communication, not a menu to rip from.

i'm not trying to rip on you, just trying to get you to consider your audience and your message rather than connecting A and B.

think big, man.

as for zookie's post, well, i'm dammnn sick of these posts as well but i'll try to help. at least until i have another glass of wine, then i'll piss on it.

hahahahahahahahahahahahaha
