hello!!!


anybody know hoy to make a coca-cola pattern in illustrator 10

the waves have that pattern made with little circles in gray...

anybody know????

sorry i forgot the image

the little circles im talking are thos on the waves, little gray cirles that have a "pattern" and then getting a separation between them.

so if anybory know how to make it in illustrator 10 please tell me....

That's not done in Illustrator, it's done in a program like Photoshop. It's a halftone pattern printed in metallic ink.

If it IS done in Illustrator, it was first done as a bitmap then traced, or replicated using the circle tools.

yes, i DO know this is easy to do in a program named PHOTOSHOP, but i guess it can be made in ILLUSTRATOR

Uhhh.. I take it that means... thanks?
If you're look for a tutorial to replicate the pattern in Illustrator, there's no simple way.

Aside from physically drawing the pattern by hand with the circle tool, your best best is to trace a pattern made by a bitmap editing program (like Photoshop).

There's no filter or 'one click' solution there, bud. (*At least none I'm aware of) Sorry.

i still haven't seen the pic, that link didn't work for me, but it sounds like you're just talking about a halftone dot pattern but it sounds like you already know how to do it in photoshop, so why not just have the dot pattern traced in streamline or in Freehand then bring it into AI?
