If you've read my other threads then you probably read about my data loss incident I had at the beginning of the summer. I lost alot. I lost all my custom fonts. I also lost most of my PSD's for my web sites images. I didn't loose my sites though. So I have to recreate the logo at the top of this page, can anyone name the font because I don't see it so I think it must have been a custom one. Thanks for the help.

MacFixer logo looks like Trebuchet from Microsoft. It's a standard-issue in MS programs with Georgia, Verdana, Times and the like. I'm not sure if you can download it anywhere.

Yeah MacFixer logo is trebuchet, but since when has that been an MS font? It comes with OS X.

Read the link above. It was designed by Vincent Connare while an employee of Microsoft (also the designer of Comic Sans, unfortunately). FYI, Verdana and Georgia, two of the best (not to mention most-used) fonts for the web were commissioned by Microsoft. But they were designed by renowned typographer Matthew Carter.

Thanks for the info! I will now be able to assign a name to the curses that spew forth after I see anything in Comic Sans! –God help us all.
