Ok... So I'm trying to make a PDF of my portfolio (12 pieces) but after I export each piece of illustrator artwork as a PDF and then pile them together in acrobat, my PDF is massive. Way too big to be emailing or putting online.

What's the secret to keeping it small? I want my vector information to remain vector so potential employers can zoom in on the work, but obviously it's ok with me for the images to be screen resolution.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

is it *just* vector? go through the acrobat and illustrator settings, make sure your images are being downsampled to 96 or 72 dpi, check fonts are being subset, etc. pdf isn't the best format for portfolio delivery imho, I'd suggest a website or something, it doesn't have to be complex.
