I was looking at this site: www.designchapel.com and it's amazing looking. I love vector graphics so obviously I was impressed.

I have a question though... do you think he drew all of those images in vector, or do you think he used bitmap trace or something in flash and then touched up?

It's very precise, and I'm nowhere near as good as that guy, but I'd probably feel a lot better if he used the bitmap trace... otherwise I feel like im not very proficient in vector graphics if this is th ekind of work that others are doing.

Thanks

That guy has an amazing portfolio!

Check out Portfolio/Archive/52. There is a brief explanation.

Photo> Photoshop> Flash

Its hard to get good results from automated photo to vector conversion unless you knew when you were shooting it, thats what you want to do. Even then...

The computer doesn't know where the true line is, and unless you have some definate outlines in your photo (unlikely) it just has to guess.

It would just be simpler to bring in the photo, and trace it with the pen tool.
