There's a lot of really interesting graphics out there, and I've always wondered how the original photoshop PSD with all of it's layers would look like ....

If there's anyone who wouldn't mind sharing their Photoshop PSD file for others to look at [to get ideas or view it's complexity] ... that would be great!

Thanks for any help

hi,

well, my particular aesthetic taste tends more to the classic design forms and principles, and i rarely do much 'fancy' photoshop work with tons of layers and everything. that said, here is a link to a PSD file for a cover i did for a magazine. there are three main elements: two photos scanned from photo books and an original digital photo. i did modify the PSD from the original though, to reduce the file size: a) i changed it from 300 dpi to 72dpi , and b) changed it from CMYK to RGB. also note that the text is only in there as a placeholder and the real text was added in InDesign. here is the link to the psd (2.88MB):

sample.psd.sit

and here is the link to the screen res PDF of the final project:

fighting for our lives PDF

here is a preview of the piece mentioned

hope this satisfies a little of your curiosity.
