Hi All,

I have 200 photoshop images that I need to convert to TIFF for printing by a photo lab.

I tried to record an Action built around the "Save As" function, but then every file gets saved with the same name as the file I used to build the Action (and therefore erase each other as they get saved in the same place under the same file name).

Can anybody help me out? (desperate, prints have to be in client's hands in 4 days, and lab will take 2 of those to print!)

Thanks in advance for any help,

Chas

Using Photoshop. File/Automate/Batch. Select your "save as tiff" action. Use the settings to save the files in a new folder and have each file sequentially numbered/named.

It's also possible to use AppleScript, if you need the TIFFs to have the same filename as the Photoshop originals.

I appreciate that, but PShop should do what I'm looking for (I can do it manually, so I should be able to batch it!).

Besides, last time I messed with AppleScript, bad things happened!

Thanks again for the suggestion,

Chas
