I'm thinking of buying my family a digital camera and am wondering if this exists for $300-400 Canadian?

-Firewire connection
-Good/very good picture quality (as in it would take good pictures outside of things including trees, flowers, the sky; work well outside, or under low lighting conditions, concerts, etc.)
-Able to store at least 30 pictures
-work with iPhoto/OS X

dump the firewire requirement and get a firewire card reader instead. I have a Lexar FW reader that I got for $30. It's great.

Check out Canon. I'm not brand loyal, but I've bought 2 cameras and do a thorough analysis of what's available. Canon has won my $$$ both times.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have no clue what's out there digital camera-wise so I wasn't too sure if I could find one with FireWire for that price (thought I'd check nonetheless). I'll look into the Lexar FW reader and Canon.
