Anyone here noticing design or illustration work going overseas?

I've heard of this happening in corporate settings with in-house "graphics" departments which churn out powerpoint and other presentation-related elements. I've heard that companies who do this are trying to save some money by sending the work to India.

I wonder how many others would foolishly try to save pennies this way?

I know a few places that outsource their web development overseas. Its a goddamn shame. I chastise them harshly and constantly and will never recommend them for work or work with/for them. I also do my best to let people I know considering working with or for them to avoid it. Its all I *can* do. The trend upsets me alot.
