I know this is probably really simple, but I am looking for a "digital typewriter" for PDFs. I have a ton of PDF forms that I need to fill out and send back, but the creators of the forms did not enable text boxes and some are secured from editing.

When I open the PDF in Acrobat, I want to be able to type and format text right over the top of the form just like I could if I printed it out and then ran it through a typewriter.

I had been scanning them in with Photoshop and then sliding them over to Acrobat and using the touchup text tool, but that is way too time consuming.

Any help? I am clueless.
