Title says it all really...

I'm a print designer that is getting more and more into web design, but would like to learn what forums to get involved with. I use almost exclusively Fireworks, Dreamweaver, and am learning Flash MX, and so would like to find a bunch of near-expert level designers that are willing to help a fellow pro that is breaking into the field more and more.

Thanks to all who can help me with this, I appreciate the advice.

Sincerley,

webmasterworld has decent forums, but if you are looking for hand-outs on how to do things, then I wouldn't reccommend going there. They are big on "helping you help yourself". If you are not against trying to learn on your own, then it is a great resource with plenty of professional level people to help you out when you really need it.

Thanks madmac,

I'll check it out. Fortunately, I am one of those that doesn't want handouts, but am willing to help myself. Just need a little help in helping myself is all.

Thanks again,

Pixel Pete

here's a couple I hit...

http://www.sitepoint.com
http://www.moluv.com
http://www.sitecritique.com
http://www.netdiver.net
http://www.creativepublic.com
http://www.jjg.net/ia/
http://www.linkdup.com
http://www.crossmind.net/cnt/news/news.php
http://creativecommons.org/

Personally, I visited Ozone and read through it for about an hour or two... I would suggest staying away from that site. There are many more sites with expertise available for questions but that site really rubbed me as "wannabe".

I have a junkload more if you want but this is decent start.

btw, sitecritique really disappoints me that it hasn't taken off. I try and try to get more support from top notch talent to visit.
