Hi!

I´m planning on writing some articles for a magazine. They want me to include photos of treatment techniques, ....

Is Photoshop 6.0 still worth the investment?
I could buy it for about 100$ US and have OS 10.2.8 installed but will upgrade to Panther later this year.

I just need some basic stuff right now. I could update to 7.0 later.

Since I´m completely unfamiliar with this whole thing any advice is appreciated.

Thanks

It runs in Classic... It's not OSX native.

Don't waste your money on PS6... if you're not ready for PS7, then get Photoshop Elements or even Graphic Converter.

And what about buying a cheap copy of 6.0 and upgrading it to 7.0?
Still doesn`t cost as much as buying 7.0 right away.

Yeah, At least get something OS X native. Elements would be a good choice. Is there an Elements > Photoshop upgrade deal?
We need less Democrats and Republicans, and more people that think for themselves.

Nope. There is no upgrade path from Elements to PS.
