is there a prg like kais vector effects that will work in 10.3?

kais vector effects was an excellent prg, but only runs in os 9, does anyone know where i can find a version for os x if there is such a thing. If not does anyone know of any alternative app that will work with illustrator cs to get those vector effects to work? plz

There is no new version of Vector Effects (which I miss terribly). Many of the features are now built in to Illustrator CS, some of the features are available in other plug-ins from other companies, but since Corel killed the app a few years back, nobody has bought the code and re-released it.

The tool from that suite I miss the most is "Path Inset/Outset" - it was so much better than what AI has built in. And the 3-D extrude filter was better than AI CS' 3-D plug in too.
