Interesting article on the changing tide of file formats from .tif and .eps to PSD and other native formats.

Just thought some of you may find it worth reading.

Interesting article. Although I'm sure there are drawbacks to using proprietary native formats I know it will save some time and repetition on the designers side.

O/T: How's the graphic design job market looking in phoenix macdog? I'll be heading out there in a year when I graduate.

Like longer rip times because native files must be "flattened" before they rip.

I've already had tons of problems with fonts not coverted or rastered in .ai and .psd files.

But it is nice to work that way in InDesign- with native files that is...
