Hi I work in an inhouse design setting. I am responsible for the production of a monthly product catalog with 3000+ products (about 100 pages). Currently we are laying out the content in Quark as tabed text with rules and verticle lines. I haven't convered the catalog to table format because that would required a extensive revamping of the layout. The marketing department who gives us the data has a database with all of the catalog's information in it hand writes all changes for us to populate the catalog. My question is does anyone have any advise as to how I can automate this process. I have explored XML and autoprice and even looked into the new excel capabilities of quark 6.1 but nothing really seems to click. So does anyone have any advice.
