Here's the full story:
I bought a G4 iMac at the end of December, because I was fired and decided to try & freelance. It has OSX 10.2.7
I transferred all the files of my Quark 4.1 from my old powermac to the G4... It worked ok in Classic.
Then a friend gave me Quark 5.0 to install, so I installed it. Now everytime I open either 5.0 or 4.1, the program fails to respond after it opens. When I try to click on File or Edit or anything in the menu bar, nothing whatsoever happens. And the "opening title window" (the one that says QUARKXPRESS 4.1 or 5.0) dissappears after the program opens but leaves a big grey box in the middle of my screen that doesn't go away until I Force Quit.
So I deleted EVERY BIT of all Quark I could find on my computer, and tried re-installing the 5.0. Same thing.
So I did two brochures using Illustrator only, but I want my Quark back...
Any ideas?
PS: I do not have large amounts of cash to apply to this problem, and I admit both Quark programs were not purchased by me...
