Any suggestions? Today I need to buy a book to learn InDesign.

I'm a little lost when I try to use it... I'm really really good at Quark, only so-so with Illustrator or Photoshop... and I'm designing an annual directory in InDesign over the mext three weeks... (It's a freelance on-premise gig and they use InDesign only) Once I get rolling I imagine it won't be a big problem to learn and master...

I've actually been thinking about getting one for my office. We are strictly an ID house, and while we are more than proficient, I would like to learn about some of the advanced features not used on an everyday basis.

Any recs?

I totally agree... I asked the same question but for a Quark 6 book and only 7 views in almost two days.

Got any links to share for other creative forums?

http://www.tek-tips.com/threadhome.cfm

This place above has separate forums for Quark, InDesign, Photoshop, etc etc etc,

The forums are hideously ugly and clautrophobic feeling, but they are responsive and knowledgable...
