Hey all, I was kinda of amazed my iMac did not come with some sort of simple Paint program. Since I dont dont anything but minor graphics editing, is there a OS X program on par with MS Paint I can download and use?

Thanks in advance

Or if this is way too basic for you. Get Photoshop Elements. It is a great program.

Photoshop elements $99.00*

If you don't have a scanner and need one, then sometimes you can get one for cheap and bundled with Photoshop Elements.

Or go to Ebay!

I was going to suggest that, but I didn't think he would want to go through the trouble, besides for his needs, Photoshop Elements would probably be best.

Myself, I am waiting on gimp, or will invest in the Full Photoshop someday when I have the money to buy the Entire Creative Suite Professional.

Let us know how it goes.

Here are a few other apps out there that are really worth noting:

Graphic Converter - Great viewer/converter/image processing [Shareware $30]

Image Magick- Unix-based image processing [Free!]

Adobe Elements - [Commercial $99]
Photoshop Elements is a GREAT program. I'd recommend it for anyone wanting to do graphics that doesn't need CMYK graphics and professional printing on a press.

Enjoy!
