A long while back, I managed to get ahold of a template that made making pictures w/ rounded edges a breeze. I would simply add a layer to the Photoshop template and then maybe one or two keyboard commands and I had the original image, but with rounded corners.

Could someone point me in the direction of such a template or instructions on how to create one myself? I want to be able to use this template for myself, but also for the next person to maintain the website.

Thanks.
Just my $.02 :-)

the way I do this is pretty quick. (assumes some basic pshop knowledge)

-make a layer mask on the picture layer you want to have the round edges
-use the rounded rectangle tool to draw a black shape in the layer mask that is roughly the size of your picture (probably go a few pixels inside the picture). At this point you will see only a little sliver of the edges of your picture
-option-click in the layer mask to view it, hit command-i to invert

Done. Once you get how to do this, it should take about 10 seconds.

I use Photoshop every now and then, so hopefully I'll be able to translate what you said the something I can understand. :-)

Thanks for the info.

Just for the heck of it I just tried a search on Google for "Photoshop rounded corners" and ended up with a slew of results, tutorials, etc.
Try it. You might find what you need. Maybe that template you had before.

Heres one:

The search results I got:

Just a thought.
Good luck.
