Is there a shortcut for doing the the effect aroudn the edges that makes it look the old style. I can do it manually, but it takes me forever, any tips ?

Hey.

I'm betting that that "effect" is from a series of frames some company was/is selling. I've seen 'em advertised, can't think of the name (Extensis?), but most likely was a bought thing. Kinda like stock photos, but the reverse, stock matting/frames.

Of course, that particular frame looks very, of what's the word (damn, it's 5:00 and my brain is fried), uhhh, gringe-y. There's kind of a whole school of that rough, beat-up, scratchy kinda look. I suspect some googling on photoshop tutorials and "grunge" might score ya some pointers.

That looks like either a real or mocked up Polaroid 5x4 sheet with a bit of extra scratching!

Do a google search for polaroid edges.

Procreate might have some plugins for Photoshop to get that effect.
