I get this message with a number of quark files:

Frame data does not match

and a prompt to choose

Use quark settings/Keep document settings

Quark's help/website is, surprise, useless. Can anyone tell me exactly what this message means and what each of the two options entails?

The winner gets the Obselete Design Program Master Merit Badge, which, of course nets you respect from others imprisoned by the foul beast that is Quark.

(using quark 4, btw. Whole company's about to switch to InDesign....woo hoo! No more classic!)

Documents preferences are not the same as your application preferences. Choose Keep document settings to open like on creators version.
