OK. I have a typeface in my head, I know I have seen and used it, but I can't think of where.

I've made this sort of mockup in photoshop. Details of the type are different, of course, but you get the idea - some letters (I think you can choose which ones by selecting capital or not, or an alternate typeface or not) are raised and underlined.

What the hell is it?

Even if you don't know what it's called, if you know of a logo or product or brand or book or movie poster that uses a typeface of this style, tell me - seeing an actual sample would help me figure it out.

It's driving me crazy. Help me out.
Hi. Nice to see you. You look lovely.

I looks like something Emigre would've pumped-out back in the late 80's. Sure does look familiar...now I'll never get to sleep.
Da*n you, Shuttleworth!!!

The font used for the logo of the TV show "Northern Exposure" is similar.

It's also entirely possible it's not a font but an illustrator job.

This is what www.identifont.com came up with... also if you have other samples try

This font looks very similar to:

Babyteeth

a font used for 70's throwback designs, and slightly similar (in style only) to:

Willow

Which is like an artsy interperetation of Desdemona.

If you like the font style, why not just make your own with fontographer? Its easy to use, and you can make your own fonts.

I have seen that typeface before - on my computer even, it was used in a job. I'm pretty sure it was an OpenType variation of a well-known font but I can't for the life of me remember which one, sorry.

If it comes to me I'll let you know.
