A few days ago I was trying to configure Suitcase 11.
Then I realised that it was copying all fonts into the OSX library, which I tried to halt by manipulating some preferences. Still, Suitcase appeared to do everything wrong and I switched back to the OSX native FONTBOOK.

Now, i am logging onto the internet with Safari, and appearantly, all small fonts have changed into Chinese fonts. well, they are so small, I can't exactly make up which ones they really are..It doesn't matter if I change the fonts in the Safari Preferences

How do I get my old system fonts back? I am afraid Suitcase and me have destroyed everything at systemlevel, and have passed the point of no return.

I thought I would ask here before doing a complete reinstall of my system.

probably too late seeing as how the weekend has passed BUT if you have not tried this, please do.

1. Read no further if you already trashed S11 off your HD...
2. Go to Tools, Manage System fonts
3. select ALL
4. Apply

This will move the fonts around a little but now it will turn them on and off as needed. Be aware, S11 is a little tricky. My compadres have had to blow out their databases from time to time to maintain a control of the font list and its previews. I hope Extensis starts to work with this soon, perhaps before "Tiger" would be nice.
