Hi guys. Im in dying need to try and get the text out of a 60 page long InDesign document? Trying to export it to word so that I can get it translated. No idea how though ive been trying!

I've been trying and read up a little. Think I need to use the Sangam filter for 'export to rtf?'

Anyone know how to use it? i'd be most grateful!

Thanks.
Yuey.

You should be able to use File > Export (Cmd-E), then choose to export as RTF and specify the options you want.

Hi Mate. Thanks a lot! Good one. Just wondering though. I read this bit already. Does this convert for a specific section or the whole document? Just thought I'd ask as I'm not near my office at the moment!

But thanks a lot yeah. Just recently converted over from PC to Mac. The Mac lot is a whole lot more helpful!

Cheers,
Yuey

If memory serves me you can specify part or all of the document. Another tip: upgrade to InDesign CS - never has an upgrade been more worthwhile.
