I'm using Suitcase X1 on Panther. When I try to activate font suitcases it only lets me activate so many at a time, and the number varies each time I open Suitcase from 1 up to about 7.

It doesn't seem to be an application or font conflict (I've tried it with just Suitcase open). I've tried un-installing and re-installing twice.

Anyone got any ideas?

thrash and trash all prefs.

Reinstalling frequently does not update the font db and other preferences. Unfortunately this is new to me also. I currently have 5 G5s running Panther [10.3.3 to 10.3.5] with X11 and the only thing we run into from time to time is the database gets corrupted. Blow it out and start over, no reinstall necessary.

If this is a legite copy, as I am sure it is, contact Extensis, they have a pretty decent response time.
