The company that I'm working for just got a nice new domain name and we would like to use it to our fullest so I've been put in charge of designing and publishing the website. Only problem is the last time I did web design I was in College and well Forgot just about everything.
So here's the question..
What do I need to start?
What are some good books to get started with or resources?
And what are some good sites to check out for help?
Thnx alot

Well, if you forgot everything, you may want to just look into hiring a freelancer to help you out. You can then talk to them about the coding and maybe you'll get your memory back.
If you want to do it yourself, it would help if you give us a better idea of what you're getting into - javascript, html, php, etc.

Well really it's just going to be a resource for anybody wishing imformation about our company. I guess I could get as fancy as my level will allow. Basically it is just going to need basic text and links maybe a few photos and roll overs..

If your doing just basic text and graphics you should be able to get away with plain old HTML.
There is a welth of info and tutorials on the web. You should have Dreamweaver or GoLive.. any kind of WYSIWYG HTML editor is your best bet, if you dont know/remember how to type out html from scratch.
Also there are tutorials for Both Dreamweaver and GoLive, so it just get easyer and easyer....
Keep us posted.
