Hi,

I'm looking for a collection of icons to use on my webpage, but I don't want to pay $350 like on sites such as stockicons.com

Anyone know some places for free collections of icons?

please understand I wouldn't want to sound too harsh but - wouldn't be more satisfied designing and implementing your own icons? It has been made easier by apps like Pic2Icon and the similar icons apps.

Icon Factory is one of the more popular sites. Doing a simple google search will bring up many more. You should be aware that many of the icons made available on these sites (even the free ones) have copyright restrictions towards, for example, publishing them on a personal website, among other things.

So, if you are going to be using some of those icons, it would be best to honor the restrictions the author has set.
